The Role:
The Comfort Advisor builds strong client relationships, identifies customer needs, and guides the sales process from consultation to closing. This role combines consultative selling, problem-solving, and relationship management to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive business growth.
What You'll Do
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services.
- Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
- Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can be easily transferred to the installation team.
- Execute on aggressive sales plans and propose expansions.
- Create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing in doing so. We expect a 55-60% close rate and roughly generate $1.5 million in sales annually.
- Maintains exceptional organization, flexibility, and motivation to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- Demonstrates strong follow-through, presentation, and public speaking skills to engage customers effectively
- Generates enthusiasm for Peterman’s brand, turning customers into advocates
- Possesses deep market knowledge and a thorough understanding of customer needs
- Actively participates in training, team meetings, and company events to continuously develop skills and support team success
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential HVAC sales or a comparable role
- Proven Track Record in Sales
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills
- Financial Acumen
- Willingness to Travel
- Late Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend Availability
- Exceptional follow-through abilities, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Latest Sales Applications
- High School Diploma or GED
