Duties
- Perform a range of massage techniques including deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual conditions, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to develop personalized massage plans that promote pain management and overall health.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments, progress notes, and medical history in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Stay current with medical terminology and industry best practices by participating in ongoing training and certification updates such as CPR and med spa procedures.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments.
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and adjust techniques accordingly.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and occupational health principles relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Excellent client communication skills to build trust and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Ability to interpret medical terminology related to patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
