Requisition Summary
Peterbilt Motors Company is looking for a Senior General Accountant for our Division Office located in Denton, Texas.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly close of general ledger.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
- Manage intercompany transactions process with other PACCAR divisions.
- Validate monthly financial statement balances.
- Assist with preparation of quarterly and year-end external reporting requirements.
- Perform internal control reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley reviews as assigned.
- Assist with Physical Inventory and Build Station audits.
- Complete special projects as required, such as ad-hoc reports for senior management and general accounting support.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- CPA/CMA and Master's Degree.
- Experience with SAP.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable making oral presentations to peers and management.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational skills required to manage various projects.
- Deadline-driven and self-motivated.
