We are currently seeking motivated and driven students for our Summer Internship Program!
What we do:
Scalamandre Construction (Peter Scalamandre & Sons, Inc.) is New York's trusted civil construction, general contractor and design-builder of choice. We provide premier site work, utility, civil, structural, and architectural construction services to clients for over 100 years.
Seville Central Mix Corp is a leading ready-mix concrete supplier and a key sister company to Scalamandre Construction. With over 45 years of experience and several state-of-the-art automated batch plants, we provide high-quality, PANYNJ and NYSDOT-approved ready-mix concrete and materials across Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.
We offer three exciting internship tracks:
- 🛠️ Construction Management Intern Gain hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, site operations, team coordination, and on-site project execution.
- 📊 Construction Estimator Intern Support our estimating team with quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, subcontractor communications, system implementation, and general estimating tasks.
- 📈 Operations Analyst Intern (Seville) Dive into the operational side of our concrete material supply business — analyze processes, support logistics, data tracking, and operational efficiency improvements.
What You’ll Gain: Real-world exposure on active commercial projects, mentorship from industry professionals, and valuable skills that will accelerate your career in construction.
Ideal Candidates: Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related fields. Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills are a plus.
