What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service - Kitchen Cashier + Clerical Paraprofessional (PS) position at Peter Sarpy Elementary?
Applications are being accepted for a 6.5 hour per day Kitchen Assistant position at Peter Sarpy Elementary School. Duties include assisting operating a cash register, cleaning the kitchen area, processing student lunch tickets, and maintaining food service records. The applicant will also be assisting with clerical duties in the front office. Applicants must be able to lift at least 40 pounds. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans preference. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
