Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS system square to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity and accuracy
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a memorable café experience
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food preparation and serving areas
- Assist with food handling, food safety protocols, and basic food preparation tasks
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service environments with a focus on coffee preparation
- Familiarity with POS systems for smooth transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing
- Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
