What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Driver position at Peter Paul Electronics Co., Inc.?
Position Overview – Responsible for maintaining receipt, storage, distribution of all materials, and shipping. This individual will also serve as a company driver when called upon to do so.
Essential Job Functions
- Will be responsible for maintaining receipt, storage, distribution of all materials and shipping as required.
- Will be responsible for contacting and scheduling freight carriers.
- Enter all necessary/applicable transactions into company ERP system.
- Will ensure that all documents accompanying product, incoming or outgoing, matches the product received or shipped
- Must be able to learn to read, understand and follow all shipping documents
- Must be PPE certified Forklift Driver
- Must follow processes and procedures, both internal and external, necessary to ensure all products leave Peter Paul Electronics in a correct and efficient manner.
- Will drive company vehicle to vendors to drop off and pick up parts as needed.
- Follow all company safety rules and report any unsafe acts to immediate supervisor.
- Perform any other duties as directed by immediate supervisor
Requirements
Ability to drive automatic as well as standard pickup truck
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Strong computer knowledge
- Trainability
- Ability to make sound decisions and accept responsibility,
- Ability to work with others
- Understanding of the Lean Enterprise Tool
Non-essential Job Functions
- Participate in company problem resolution teams.
- Participate in company Kaizen events.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
