Position Summary
This position manages the agency’s revenue processes and assists with managing the agency’s grant contracts and chart of accounts.
Key Responsiblites
- Manages the recognition of Development revenue, submitting timely and accurate deposits to the accounting system; enters all donation and grant amounts as A/R entries in the accounting system.
- Collaborates with Development team to provide budget and forecast information for grant applications.
- Develops financial performance reports to funders and internal partners.
- Works with Director of Compliance and Administration to reconcile income between fundraising, program, and accounting systems in accordance with US GAAP.
- Assists with financial reporting on government contracts, coordinating with other agency staff on HMIS and programmatic reporting as needed.
- Assists with the agency's annual financial statement audit and Form 990 tax return.
- Maintain internal controls over agency’s fiscal responsibilities.
- Remains up to date on contract regulations and legislation regarding allowable expenses and makes adjustments as needed; attends all applicable trainings.
- Works with CFO to complete timely reports for Finance Committee and Board of Directors.
- Regular attendance and punctuality are required to perform job duties effectively.
- Performs other duties as requested by the CFO or as dictated by circumstances of growth and/or planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or comparable field.
- Minimum two years of experience working in grants management, including experience in budget management, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Commitment to results with emphasis on accountability.
- Ability to work independently.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage towards deadlines.
- Sense of humor, integrity, impeccable work ethic.
- Knowledge of Office 365, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks Online preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisor responsibilities.
Physical and Environmental Requirements: Ability to lift and carry at least 10 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Work Environment: This position operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
