Our work environment includes:
- Large classroom settings with small group size.
- Lunch is provided for staff daily.
Hours: Monday-Friday (8am-12:15pm) or (12:15pm-5:15pm)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddler children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and create a structured learning environment.
- Assess the individual needs of each child and provide appropriate support and guidance.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Great to have: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
