What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Dispatcher position at Peter Levi Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, and Drains?
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Plumbing Dispatcher to join our growing team in Novato, CA. As the first point of contact between our plumbing technicians and valued customers, you'll be responsible for ensuring service calls are scheduled efficiently and customer satisfaction is prioritized from the moment the phone rings to the job's completion.
Pay Range: $22.00 - $30.00 full time hourly depending on experience
What You'll Do:
- Work closely with the customer service team members and field staff
- Relay information regarding service time frame, appointment availability, delays, or special instructions
- Track field technician work location, equipment, and work status
- Relay accurate information to customers and technicians, ensuring proficient, and quality experiences
- Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians to residential and commercial job sites.
- Monitor technician availability and job status in real-time using dispatching software.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding appointment times, technician arrival, and service updates.
- Adjust and optimize schedules based on emergencies, cancellations, and technician delays.
- Maintain records of all service calls, work orders, and technician logs.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and coordinating supply deliveries when necessary.
- Provide administrative support to the service team and management.
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business
What We're Looking For:
- 1 years of experience in a fast-paced call center role
- Previous dispatch or call center experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to work in a fast paced and results driven environment
