We are a local milk delivery company specializing in a high standard of service to support the superior quality products we distribute.
What you'll do:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Accepting delivery of inventory.
- Counting and confirming inventory.
- Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
- Communicating errors to relevant parties.
- Marking and labeling stock.
- Storing inventory in an accessible manner.
- Loading and wrapping stock on pallets.
- Building loads with a forklift and an electronic pallet jack.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss process improvements and address challenges.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety training programs and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
- Good communication skills and can work well with a team.
- Understands and follows directions with minimal challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred
- Proficient in operating pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and other heavy equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for order tracking and inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
