Overnight Bagel Baker

Pete's is all about fresh food, community and family. We opened our doors in 2019 after re-falling in love with the St. Pete community. We bake all out bagels daily and have a great team of dedicated people

Shift is typically 2am-10am.

Production experience is highly recommended, but we are willing to train the right person

Role includes:

1. Production:

-Execute the baking and packaging of bagels to get distributed in a timely manner

so that bagels can leave Gulfport by 5am.

-Complete daily production of baking and rolling bagels to meet pars with

precision and efficiency.

-Fulfill daily bagel quotas for plain and cinnamon raisin bagels, adjusting as

needed to meet demand.

-Cross train with the Pastry Lead and assist in completing any additional pastry

tasks EOD.

1. Quality Control:

-Maintain quality control standards for rolling, baking, and packing. Ensure that all

bagels and pastries meet our established quality criteria before packaging and

distribution.

-Work with Bagel Lead to remake products when necessary, such as in cases of

burning or other quality issues, to uphold our standards of excellence.

1. Cleanliness:

-A major part of the roll is helping to maintain a clean and working kitchen. Daily tasks include dishes, sweeping, moping and cleaning all tools and machines.

1. Communication, Accountability, and Teamwork:

-Communicate effectively with coworkers.

-Arrive to shifts on time and complete tasks with the team in an efficient manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
