What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Head Baker position at Pete's General?
Pete's Bagels is looking for an experienced baker to assist our head baker/manager. We are all about fresh food, community, and family. The ideal candidate is upbeat, dedicated and hard working. We would love to find someone who has a strong background in bread baking
The Assistant Head Baker will provide direct support to our Head Baker, work with our production team to bake daily product for all Pete's locations, help with supply ordering and new recipe development, and serve as a main point-of-contact for our baking team during our Head Baker's days off.
The role is required to have previous professional baking experience, overnight availability and work a total of 40 hours per week. Shifts are typically from 2am-10am. We offer health and dental benefits, paid time off, quarterly bonus and tip shares. The average hourly rate for this role with tips is $19-21/hr.
