Pete Lien & Sons, Inc. a multi-state mining & construction materials company, is seeking plant maintenance mechanics for our Lime Plant in Rapid City. Successful candidates will have experience in welding & fabrication as well as general maintenance & repair of a variety of equipment.
Pete Lien & Sons, Inc. offers competitive compensation with a range of $24.00 to $29.00/hr DOEQ & excellent benefits including immediate health insurance, 401(k) at 90 days, with matching contribution of up to 6% after 1 year of employment.

Provide daily mechanical maintenance support to the plant operations under the direction of the Maintenance Crew Supervisor.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines continue to run smoothly
- Inspect motors, drives, belts, check fluid levels, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions
- Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears or other parts of machinery
- Repair or replace defective equipment using hand tools, power tools, torches, welders, hoists, cranes and other tools as necessary
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions. Check blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary to determine best repair method.
- Inspect failed parts to determine cause of failure
- Install, align and balance new equipment
- Ability to weld and fabricate steel components

Schedule -
Rotating 4-10's schedule with a Saturday shift every 4 weeks and rotating on-call
