Are you an experienced dog groomer who takes personal pride in the art of grooming and is passionate about quality pet grooming? Can you style all types of dogs to the breed standards and client wishes, providing outstanding customer service?
Having direct contact with the customers to dine their grooming service needs and then perform the services. As a boutique, we are looking for highly talented groomer to deliver 5 star grooming and customer service.
Your responsibilities include but not limited to- bathing, drying, brush out, flea treatments, clipping/ filing nails, dematting, ear cleaning/ear hair removal as needed and cleaning up after them. We clean throughout day and end of shift.
The ideal Petbar Grooming candidate must possess the following skills and characteristics:
- Have a very positive mental attitude and genuinely love working with pets
- Understanding of all dog breeds, personality traits, and safe animal handling skills
- At least one year of grooming experience
- Provide a current grooming portfolio
- An expert understanding of the grooming processes, including specifics related to breed styling
- Ability to respectfully and professionally communicate with clients and colleagues to achieve the highest degree of service and build community and client rapport as a genuinely exceptional place to bring their pet
- A patient and caring demeanor for your client's pet during the grooming process ensuring the experience is stress-free and enjoyable
- Keep your working area clean and safe
*Must LOVE dogs and be knowledgeable and comfortable with and handling all breeds, sizes and temperaments.
