About Our Mobile Clinics

PETA operates four state-of-the-art, custom-built mobile clinics. Since launching in 2001, our program has spayed and neutered over 257,000 animals.

Based out of our Norfolk, VA headquarters, our clinics travel daily (up to 90 miles) throughout southeastern Virginia—from Gloucester to Emporia, including Chesapeake and rural communities in between. We also travel on occasion to other underserved areas of Virginia that have limited or no access to affordable veterinary care.

Each clinic performs approximately 30–35 surgeries per day and is supported by:

• A licensed veterinarian

• A licensed veterinary technician

• A veterinary assistant

• An intake assistant

This is a fast-paced, supportive, and collaborative environment, focused on safety and compassionate, top-notch care.
