What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Veterinary Technician / Experienced Veterinary Technician – Beta Platform Member position at Pet VeTeks?
Pet VeTeks is an innovative membership directory and service-request marketplace connecting pet owners with licensed veterinary technicians and qualified veterinary professionals for professional, non-emergency in-home pet care support.
We are building a trusted platform designed to make high-quality pet care support more accessible while giving veterinary professionals a new way to utilize their skills independently, safely, and professionally.
Opportunity DescriptionPet VeTeks is currently inviting our first group of Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) and experienced veterinary technicians with 4 years of hands-on veterinary experience in the Orange County, CA area to join as Beta Veterinary Technician Platform Members.
As an independent professional on the Pet VeTeks marketplace, Beta Platform Members may choose to accept in-home service requests directly from local pet owners for professional, non-emergency care support.
Examples of eligible support may include medication assistance, post-operative support, chronic care support, senior pet care support, and other services appropriate to the provider’s training, experience, licensure status, and applicable scope-of-practice requirements.
All services must remain within applicable state laws, professional boundaries, and veterinary oversight requirements where required.
Beta Platform Members will receive priority onboarding support and will have the opportunity to provide feedback that helps shape the Pet VeTeks platform before broader rollout.
This is an early-access platform opportunity for veterinary professionals interested in flexible, independent work and helping build a new professional pathway for veterinary technicians.
Beta Member OfferAs part of the Pet VeTeks beta launch, approved Beta Veterinary Technician Platform Members will receive one year of free Pet VeTeks platform membership with a beta promo code.
