Pet Supplies Plus Of Massapequa Is looking for Full / Part Time Pet Groomers With Experience To Join Their Team!! We are opening a new franchise location.

You will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

You will receive base pay or commission weekly! The higher of both is what you will be paid. There will be no cap on what you can earn and all tips will be 100% yours. please call to discuss pay we are flexible and willing to work with you.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Utilize appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff during grooming procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners.
• Assist in heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or multiple pets as needed.
• Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history and any special instructions from owners.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in pet grooming, including styles, techniques, and products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary technician or animal care is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and specific grooming requirements.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, including experience with animal restraint techniques.
• A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care to all pets.
