Responsibilities

• Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are properly organized and labeled to enhance the shopping experience
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions quickly and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with professionalism
• Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and locating items throughout the store
• Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, practicing excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
• Upsell complementary products to increase sales and promote store promotions effectively
• Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and restocking merchandise as needed
• Manage stock levels by receiving shipments, verifying inventory counts, and replenishing shelves promptly

Skills

• Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or grocery store environment
• Supervising experience or leadership skills to assist in team coordination when needed
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
• Customer service expertise with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product placement strategies
• Basic math skills for cash register operations, inventory counts, and sales calculations
• Demonstrated ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining safety standards
• Experience in grocery stores or retail sales environments is highly desirable
