What You'll Do:
- Perform grooming and styling per pet parent requests and breed standards with consistency and professionalism.
- Complete all aspects of grooming (brushing, bathing, nail trims, etc.) to ensure pets look and feel their best.
- Monitor pets in your care, follow handling best practices, and respond appropriately to signs of stress or health concerns.
- Build trust with neighbors by providing excellent service, clear communication, and thoughtful product/service recommendations.
- Keep grooming areas sanitary, organized, and inviting in alignment with safety and animal care standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate of a grooming school OR 2 years of professional grooming experience
- Proficiency in breed-standard cuts and grooming techniques
- Must supply your own professional grooming tools
- Adherence of salon safety procedures and industry standards
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
