Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pet Groomer, located in Houston, TX. The Pet Groomer will provide professional grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling for a variety of pets. Responsibilities also include ensuring the comfort and safety of pets during the grooming process, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing exceptional customer service by building relationships with pet owners and addressing their needs. Frequent interaction with pets and their families makes this a dynamic and rewarding role for animal enthusiasts.
Qualifications
- Skills in Animal Care, Pet Care, and Animal Welfare to ensure pets are groomed safely, comfortably, and to a high standard
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners, team members, and management
- Customer Service skills to build relationships with clients, address concerns, and provide a welcoming experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming or professional animal care is preferred
- Ability to handle pets of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments in a calm and professional manner
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace
