- Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on pet products, nutrition, and care routines
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate pet supplies, toys, and accessories tailored to their pets’ needs
- Perform heavy lifting of supplies, stock replenishment, and equipment setup to keep the store well-stocked and inviting
- Educate customers on responsible pet ownership, including training tips such as dog training techniques
Experience
- Prior experience with animal handling, including dog handling or kennel experience
- Knowledge of pet grooming, pet sitting, or veterinary-related tasks enhances your ability to serve customers effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
