Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and animal-loving Pet Grooming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and their furry companions. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing daily appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and our grooming team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule, confirm, and manage grooming appointments via phone, text, or in-person
- Answer client inquiries and provide detailed information about services, pricing, and policies
- Handle check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and pet vaccine records
- Communicate special pet care instructions or concerns to grooming staff
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable
- Promote additional services, products, and loyalty programs
- Assist in resolving client concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Support daily administrative tasks and basic inventory management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or pet care role preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working around dogs, cats, and other pets
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using scheduling or POS software (training provided if needed)
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for animals
Work Schedule:
- Starting date: as soon as possible (Require Training time a week before the starting date)
- Part time from 8am - 6pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
