What You'll Do

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all Pet Food Expert UPS orders, Customer Pickups, Employee

Purchases, Wholesale, Blue Buffalo and Wayfair orders are selected, packed and processed.

• Read work orders, email and receive verbal instructions for work assignments notating special instructions, next day deliveries, priority customer pickup or employee purchases
• Review and sort UPS orders, process orders by setting up and utilizing UPS stations
• Select products and transport filled orders to and from staging areas using material handling equipment including push cart or pallet jack
• Complete packaging and processing order at designated staging area using packing materials
• Support Inbound Dept.; receive, breakdown and put away freight
• Assist checking in customer returns during the absence of the returns processor
  
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Knowledge of items that are in stock and to be shipped
• Ability to read packs, order labels, other information and match to visible items and other data.
• Ability to perform computer lookup/inquiries to determine product location and/or description
• Knowledge and practice of safe lifting techniques
• Attention to detail, good decision-making skills
• Positive attitude, team focus – successful working both independently and cooperatively with others
• Ability and willingness to work with purpose and a strong sense of urgency
