Duties
- Provide care to animals staying with us for boarding and doggie daycare with responsibilities including feeding, bathing, exercising, socializing and monitoring of their health status.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kennel building as a whole, including play areas in and out, private kennel enclosures and all areas in between.
- Record detailed notes on animal behavior and health observations to maintain safety for staff and guests.
- Support client communication by updating pet owners on their animals’ well-being and answering questions regarding pricing, pet care practices and daily routines.
- Handle animals safely using appropriate techniques to prevent injury to animals or staff during socialization.
- Make bookings within our reservation system accurately while communicating effectively with customers.
Qualifications
- Previous kennel experience or animal handling background preferred, but not required.
- Strong dog handling skills and experience working with a variety of dogs and cats with different temperaments and needs is preferred.
- Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while adhering to safety protocols is required.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, co-workers and supervisors professionally is required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work with a variety of personalities- animal and human is required.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
