Position Summary
We are hiring a Field Technician & Manager to oversee daily operations while also performing field service duties. This hands-on leadership role combines route work, team supervision, and local business development.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, managing people, and building lasting customer relationships. This is a salary-based position that may occasionally include weekend or holiday coverage to ensure continuous service for our clients.
Responsibilities
Field Service Technician
- Service assigned routes by performing pet waste removal for residential and commercial properties.
- Operate and maintain company vehicle, tools, and supplies.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer interactions and quality service on every visit.
Management & Sales
- Oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, and technician performance.
- Recruit, train, and mentor field staff.
- Manage customer communications, retention, and satisfaction.
- Drive local sales growth through community outreach and partnership development.
- Build relationships with veterinarians, pet groomers, pet stores, and other pet industry professionals.
- Maintain operational records, reporting, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Love for animals and comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proven sales experience required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must attend and complete Manager Training at Pet Butler corporate headquarters.
- Must pass all pre-employment requirements:
- Background check

- Substance screening
- While formal education is valuable, strong experience, reliability, and a customer-first attitude are the deciding factors for success in this role.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Schedule & Compensation
