Job Summary

Now HIRING an honest, reliable, efficient, friendly, and hard-working pet waste technician. This job is for on-call work, only as needed so the work is not guaranteed. We understand that if we call you and need your assistance that day or another day, you may not be available; however, if you do commit to working an on-call shift, we need someone we can rely on to complete that shift. We remove dog waste from residential and commercial properties and service pet waste stations, etc. You’ll drive a company truck, complete your route using a company-issued phone, and be provided equipment to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely throughout various local areas; we service the Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Doraville, Chamblee, Brookhaven, Buckhead, Decatur and North Decatur, Scottdale, Clarkston, Tucker, Emory University area, North Druid Hills area and other areas surrounding downtown Atlanta
• Efficiently and thoroughly clean up to 30 yards a day, of different terrains and sizes
• Service pet waste stations
• Organize and place door hangers
• Apply odor eliminator using a sprayer for customers who pay for the service
• Must enjoy working independently
• Must have outdoor work experience and be able to work in the rain and the heat except for severe weather conditions.
• Clean up, disinfect and remove dog waste on various properties
• Follow predetermined GPS routes
• Use a company-issued phone
• Day shift, start time in first yard at 8:00a in winter months, up to 10am in summer months (must start early enough to finish route)
• Must have flexible hours
• Work hours vary
• Work days are Monday-Friday (and Saturday when needed)

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Driver’s License with a clean and clear driving record
• At least 25 years old
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and walk up to 3 miles daily
• Employees may be subject to random drug testing per company policy or federal regulations.
• Must have excellent eye sight and be detail oriented so you can find the poop in areas of the yard, mulch, pine straw beds and rock beds
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent public speaking skills
• Unafraid of large or barking dogs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Candidates will be required to pass a background check
