What You'll Do
- Oversee supplier relationships, with a strong focus on international and broader APAC vendors.
- Create, manage, and track purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate documentation.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, lead times, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
- Manage logistics and shipping from overseas manufacturers, including customs clearance and import/export compliance.
- Monitor supplier performance for quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.
- Partner with freight forwarders and logistics providers to maintain efficient transportation networks.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Product teams to align on supply needs and timing.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and implement proactive solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Continuously improve supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and support growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
- 3 years of proven experience in supply chain or vendor management.
- Hands-on experience working with overseas suppliers, with a strong preference for Chinese and APAC vendor management.
- Skilled in negotiating contracts and managing international logistics.
- Knowledge of import/export compliance and customs processes.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in supply chain tools (ERP, logistics software, Excel).
- Excellent communication skills; Mandarin language ability is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
