About the Role:

The Wildlife Service Technician plays a critical role in managing and mitigating human-wildlife conflicts to promote coexistence and protect both public safety and wildlife populations. This position involves conducting fieldwork to monitor wildlife activity, assess habitats, and implement humane control measures in accordance with federal and state regulations. The technician will collaborate with landowners, government agencies, and conservation organizations to develop and execute effective wildlife management plans. Through data collection and reporting, the technician contributes to ongoing research and policy development aimed at sustainable wildlife management. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience or training in wildlife management, animal control, or a related field.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with the public and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in wildlife biology, environmental science, or related discipline.
• Certification in wildlife handling or pest control.
• Experience with GPS and data collection technology.
• Knowledge of local wildlife species and their behaviors.
• First aid and CPR certification.
