Pest Pro Solution is looking for a reliable, motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is professional with customers, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working independently throughout the Chicago area.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial pest control services.
- Inspect properties for rodents, cockroaches, ants, spiders, bed bugs, and other common pests.
- Apply pesticides, baits, dusts, traps, and other pest-control products safely and correctly.
- Install and service interior and exterior rodent bait stations.
- Identify pest entry points and recommend exclusion or preventative solutions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about pest problems and treatments.
- Complete assigned daily routes efficiently and arrive at appointments on time.
- Document services and customer information using company software.
- Maintain pest-control equipment, supplies, and company vehicle.
- Follow all product labels, company procedures, and Illinois pest-control regulations.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing Pest Pro Solution.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills.
- Comfortable driving throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
- Able to work independently and manage a daily service route.
- Comfortable working in basements, crawl spaces, apartment buildings, restaurants, and other residential or commercial environments.
- Ability to lift and carry pest-control equipment and supplies.
- Pest-control experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Illinois pest-control license/certification is a plus.
