Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pest inspections using hand tools, spray rigs, and power tools to identify pest activity and entry points.
- Apply pesticides and chemical agents safely and accurately following pesticide management protocols and safety regulations such as respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures.
- Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to provide sustainable solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly, ensuring adherence to all driving safety protocols while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and routine inspections.
- Communicate clearly with clients about pest issues, treatment plans, safety precautions, and follow-up steps to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical handling, pesticide application, safety protocol adherence, and service reports for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Experience
- Proven experience in pest control services with a strong understanding of pesticide application knowledge, entomology, and pest biology.
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and spray equipment.
- Familiarity with confined space entry safety procedures, and respiratory protection standards.
- Demonstrated ability to handle chemicals safely including pesticides and other chemical agents used in pest management.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving in diverse environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred.
