What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Certified Pest Applicator / Trainer (NM Commercial License Required) position at Pest Control?
Albuquerque and Rio Rancho · Part-time, flexible hours · $1,000/month salary $35/hr field time
I'm launching a new residential pest control company in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, and I'm looking for a licensed NM Commercial Applicator to be my certified applicator and trainer.
This isn't a full-time route job. You'll train me on real jobs for the first 30 days or 50 jobs, then supervise my work part-time as the business grows. I've run home service businesses for 6 years, so you won't be dealing with sales, scheduling, billing or customer drama. You bring the pest know-how, I will run the backend while you teach me.
What you'll do
- Ride along and teach treatments for the first 30 days or 50 jobs
- Write my treatment protocols and approve the products I use
- Review application records monthly
- Be reachable by phone during service hours
- Ride along a couple of days a month to check work
- Handle the occasional bigger or specialty job
What you get
- $1,000/month salary for being my certified applicator
- $35/hr for every hour in the field with me
- A $2,500 thank-you bonus when I earn my own Commercial Applicator license
- Flexible part-time hours that fit around your schedule
You need
- An active NM Commercial Applicator license with category 7B
- 2 years of residential pest experience
- To be easy to reach during the day
Great fit if you're semi-retired/retired and want some extra income.
