Overview
Peskind Executive Search is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a growing food manufacturing organization seeking two Regional Sales to support expansion across key customer channels.
We are hiring for:
• Regional Sales – Retail
• Regional Sales – Foodservice
These positions will be responsible for managing strategic customer relationships, driving revenue growth, supporting new product launches, and executing sales strategies within their respective channels. The ideal candidates bring strong account management experience, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow relationships with key accounts within Retail or Foodservice channels
• Drive sales growth through existing customer expansion and new business development
• Coordinate pricing, promotional programs, and product introductions
• Develop customer presentations, business reviews, and growth plans
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer opportunities
• Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
• Support new product launches and category expansion initiatives
• Collaborate with brokers, distributors, and channel partners as appropriate
• Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
• Track account performance, forecasts, and sales activity through CRM systems
• Meet or exceed revenue and profitability objectives
Retail Focus
• Manage relationships with supermarkets, club stores, mass retailers, and regional chains
• Support category reviews, shelf placement opportunities, and promotional planning
• Utilize retail sales data and category insights to drive growth
Foodservice Focus
• Manage relationships with distributors, operators, chain accounts, and foodservice partners
• Drive menu placement, product adoption, and operator engagement
• Support distributor relationships and foodservice channel growth initiatives
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of sales, account management, or business development experience
• Experience within Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food Manufacturing, or Foodservice industries
• Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Analytical mindset with experience reviewing sales data and performance metrics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%
Preferred Experience
• Food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods, or foodservice industry background
• Experience working with large retail customers, distributors, or national accounts
• Familiarity with promotional planning, pricing strategies, and new product launches
• Experience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams
