Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Manage guest requests and inquiries with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Uphold food safety practices during food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
- Familiarity with CAKE POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and guest requests.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
