Position Details:
Job Title: Mindful Moments Room Coordinator
FT/PT Status: Part Time
Working Period: 180 days
Salary: $15.20 per hour

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with children
Job Summary:
The Mindful Moments room coordinator will assist students of varying needs with social emotional, academic, and behavioral support. They will work closely with administrators, teachers, and other support staff to create unique schedules and goals for a variety of students. They will log student activities and behaviors while in the room and will provide monthly reports to administration. They will maintain a calm and sensory friendly environment. The Mindful Moments room coordinator will need to be flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of the school from day to day. The coordinator will also organize school fundraisers, book fairs, annual fun day and parent outreach programs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of students
2. Maintain a calm and sensory friendly environment
3. Coordination of schedules and goals for students with teachers and administration
4. Maintaining logs and notes of student activity while in the Mindful Moments room
5. Assist students with academic and social emotional needs
6. Work with administration to assist students with behavioral needs
7. Coordinate and facilitate fundraisers, book fairs, annual fun day, and parent outreach programs
8. Other duties as needed
