We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electronics Technician to support a client in an industrial manufacturing environment. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electrical equipment and controls. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and able to work independently within a fast-paced facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on automated systems and Material Handling Equipment such as conveyors, AS/RS, and shuttle systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff).
- Use Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems to monitor and control automated processes.
- Read and interpret CAD schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Maintain reliable system connectivity using Profibus and Profinet communication systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Proven experience in electromechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong background in industrial electricity, control circuits, and voltages.
- Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and communication protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD schematics.
- Power equipment license.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
Preferred:
- 5 years of experience maintaining industrial automation or MHE systems.
- Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems.
- Expertise with Profibus and Profinet.
Education:
Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience).Certified Industrial Electrician preferred.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Mon- Fri 7AM-330 PM during training
- Schedule will move to a 2-3-2 rotating shift once fully trained- Hours will be on 2nd Shift. (6PM-630AM)
