Position Overview:
This is a direct hire opportunity from day one, offering competitive pay and a strong benefits package.
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with experience in 5-axis and mill-turn machining.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (5-axis and mill-turn)
- Work with mills, mill-turn equipment, centerless grinders, and multi-axis grinders
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Select and install tooling, work holding, and fixtures for each job
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues
- Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Accurately document production and inspection results
Qualifications:
- Experience with 5-axis milling, mill-turn equipment, and/or grinding machines
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Solid understanding of machining principles (tooling, speeds, feeds)
- High attention to detail and quality
- Basic computer skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday
- 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM
Compensation:
- $33.00 hour plus 15% shift differential, based on experience
