What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Lathe Machinist - $30/hour (Direct Hire) position at Personnel People?
This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one
Responsibilities:
- Set-up & operate Mori-Seiki & Nakamura-Tome CNC lathes
- Select cutting tools and determine appropriate speeds and feeds for each job
- Read and interpret blueprints to produce parts to specification
- Ensure precision and accuracy for tight tolerance parts
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- At least three years previous CNC lathe experience
- Ability to edit programs would be a plus
- Working with blueprints and drawings
Hours are:
Monday through Thursday – 10 hours days
Flexible hours between 5am – 5pm
Overtime on Friday when available and needed
The salary is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
