Shipping Associate

Warehouse Associate Pay Rate: $24.17/hour (you will receive a paycheck weekly)

As a Warehouse Associate at our local bakery, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely shipment of bakery products to various destinations. You will be responsible supporting the shipping team in preparing, loading, and unloading products, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

We are currently seeking full-time warehouse associates for our Knoxville, TN location. You must be able to work ANY shift and weekends.

Warehouse Associate Duties:

• Assist in loading and unloading bakery products onto/from delivery trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of products.
• Operate material handling equipment, non motorized hand trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Verify the accuracy of orders to ensure correct products and quantities are being shipped
• Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly.
• Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met

Requirements for Warehouse Associate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of warehouse experience
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, like a modified hand truck
• Physical stamina to lift heavy items, bend and be on your feet for extended periods
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds continuously
• Capable of preforming basic math skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment or individually

** This role may involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Candidates should be in good physical condition to meet the demands of the job.
