Milwaukee-area construction company is looking for a Bilingual Construction Supervisor to help lead a Spanish-speaking crew on commercial abatement and remediation projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with construction experience who is reliable, hands-on, and comfortable leading a small crew. The company specializes in commercial cleanup and abatement work involving lead, mold, and asbestos. You will help keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and in compliance with jobsite regulations. This is a hands-on supervisor role, so you will also be assisting with the physical labor alongside the crew. Job comes with company vehicle, full benefits, 401k, pays $25.00-$30.00 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct a small crew of 3-5 workers on commercial abatement/remediation projects
- Communicate daily work instructions clearly in both English and Spanish
- Assist with the safe removal and cleanup of lead, mold, and asbestos-related materials
- Make sure projects are completed on time and according to safety regulations
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
- Assist with labor duties as needed
- Operate a company vehicle when required
- Represent the company professionally with customers, contractors, and crew members
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Abatement, remediation, demolition, or restoration experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills and ability to keep a crew on task
- Highly reliable and able to show up on time every day
- Comfortable doing physical labor year-round
- Clean driving record required to operate a company vehicle
- Must be willing to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Will consider candidates outside of construction if they have a strong work history, leadership ability, and are capable of learning the trade
