KITCHEN MANAGER – MULTI-UNIT NYC RESTAURANT GROUP
Manhattan & Brooklyn | Multiple Locations
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 (Based on Experience & Level)
We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing NYC hospitality group with multiple high-volume restaurants across Manhattan and Brooklyn to identify strong, hands-on Kitchen Managers to join their expanding teams.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized, people-driven BOH leader who thrives in fast-paced kitchens and wants real growth potential within a multi-unit restaurant group.
THE ROLE
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily BOH operations, ensuring food quality, safety, cost control, and team leadership across the kitchen. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Leadership to drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence in execution.
This is a true leadership role for someone who loves developing people, tightening systems, and delivering consistent, high-quality food at scale.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all daily kitchen operations across assigned location(s)
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and execution
- Manage ordering, inventory, waste control, and food cost
- Enforce all DOH, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Lead scheduling, training, and performance management
- Hire, onboard, and develop BOH team members
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient kitchen systems
- Partner with FOH leadership to ensure seamless service
- Support new openings and cross-training as the group continues to grow
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 2–5 years of Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or BOH Leadership experience
- Background in high-volume, fast-casual, casual upscale, or full-service restaurants
- Strong knowledge of food safety, inventory, and labor management
- Proven ability to lead, train, and retain teams
- Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure
- Growth-minded and excited about long-term career advancement within a group
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
