CATERING SALES MANAGER

$72,000–$85,000 Commission / Bonus Program

Location: Chelsea, NYC (Catering Hub)

About the Role

As the Catering Sales Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the catering sales channel — building relationships, driving new business, and managing all aspects of catering operations from inquiry to execution. Based at our dedicated Catering Hub in Chelsea, you’ll collaborate closely with our culinary and operations teams to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences that reflect our brand’s unique hospitality and culture.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role that blends business development, event logistics, and brand representation. The ideal candidate brings a passion for food, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a polished, service-oriented approach to every interaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all catering sales, from inbound inquiries to confirmed contracts and event execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, nurturing repeat business and referrals.
  • Oversee event logistics — including delivery, setup, staffing, and breakdown — ensuring flawless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to ensure accurate, timely preparation and delivery of catering items.
  • Supervise on-site catering teams, ensuring professionalism and consistency with brand standards.
  • Partner with vendors and suppliers to source rentals, décor, and special equipment as needed.
  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability across all catering events.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory for catering-specific equipment, packaging, and supplies.
  • Represent the brand at large-scale events and community initiatives, showcasing our hospitality and culinary excellence.
  • Develop marketing and outreach strategies to grow the catering business and strengthen our local presence.
  • Train and mentor team members on catering best practices, service etiquette, and event execution.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all off-site catering events.


Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of experience in catering sales, events, or hospitality management, ideally within a multi-unit or fast-growing restaurant group.
  • Proven ability to drive sales, build relationships, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong understanding of catering logistics, event production, and client relations.
  • A passion for hospitality, culture, and great food — with the energy and creativity to help elevate the brand.


Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $72,000–$85,000 (based on experience)
