Practice Description:

Personalized Hematology/Oncology of Wake Forest (PHOWF) was launched in 2012 after completing my fellowship in Hem/Onc in 2001, with a passion & desire to utilize the blueprint of the tumor to determine, based on the science, the best treatment for patients with Stage IV disease. Adding to this passion, with subsequent breakthroughs since 2012 in the science of Oncology with precision medicine, bispecific antibodies, drug-antibody conjugates, immune checkpoint inhibitor therapies, and CAR-T, and CRISPer technologies, there has been a diversity of options to enhance our abilities to provide better molecularly targeted therapies with the hope to one day eliminate cytotoxic therapies, with their plethora of unwanted side effects.

PHOWF struggled to survive initially, perfecting our business model and undergoing three expansions, increasing the size of our infusion center within the same building. We initially added our own CLIA, COLA, OSHA/HIPAA certified laboratory, and within the last year have our own inpatient pharmacy. We have a service dog to greet the infusion patients and lower anxiety for all the patients who are seen in the clinic.

We are now looking to increase the number of Hem/Onc providers in our practice. We would like to offer a position to support the fellowship programs of graduating fellow(s) in the United States Hem/Onc Programs who are interested in an Independent Community Hem/Onc Office/Clinic/Infusion Center practice in Raleigh, North Carolina.

We are looking for a candidate who has the passion for hematology and oncology, wants to earn the respect of their patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals by developing their talent into superior care for their patients.
