Role: Travel Physical Therapist, responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing patient care plans in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities: Oversee PTAs and support staff, bill within facility guidelines, ensure compliance with state PT board regulations, collaborate with medical personnel, understand adaptive equipment, evaluate and modify care plans, utilize hospital computer systems, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), BLS certification, and state-specific licensure. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and have a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication, and adherence to regulatory standards.
Additional info: 8-hour days, 40 hours/week, with travel employment. Additional certifications may be required prior to start.
