Role: Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients in an acute care setting.
Key Duties: Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, assist patients with daily tasks, evaluate home and workplace environments, educate families and employers, recommend and instruct on equipment use, and document patient progress in compliance with guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have a minimum of 6 months experience (1 year preferred), BLS certification, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensing. Candidates should have strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods is required.
Additional Requirements: New grads encouraged to apply; additional certifications may be needed prior to assignment.
