Responsibilities Include
- Assessing fine motor, visual motor, sensory motor, and self-care skills using various diagnostic instruments.
- Applying developmentally appropriate, goal-oriented activities to support student improvement.
- Collaborating effectively with staff, students, and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Developing and writing Individual Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals.
- Graduation from an accredited OT program (minimum B.S.).
- Registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure as an OT.
- Experience in school-based therapy and knowledge of state regulations for disabled students.
