Role: Provides nursing care in a high-energy Mother Baby unit specializing in Obstetrics and Well Newborn Care.
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support lactation services. Circulate cases independently within the unit, which includes diverse patient rooms and surgical suites.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a current RN license, and meet state requirements. Must have physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, perform prolonged standing and walking, and execute various physical movements. Certifications in NRP and BLS are required, with other certifications acquired as needed.
Key Skills: Strong clinical skills in obstetrics, newborn care, and surgical circulation, physical endurance, teamwork, and communication. Knowledge of lactation consultation is a plus.
