Position Overview

  • Department: Surgical Services, OR Pre-operative holding and block
  • Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts for comprehensive patient care.
  • Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
  • Assess and plan for discharge needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Current RN license from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from AHA or Red Cross.
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college.
