Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Virtual Care, working from an on-site Virtual Nursing Hub to support inpatient units.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with bedside caregivers through patient admissions, discharges, education, virtual rounding, clinical surveillance, and care coordination. Utilize advanced technology and clinical judgment to enhance patient experience and support nursing teams across acute care settings.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 3 years recent acute care nursing experience, NYS RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree, 5 years of acute care, charge nurse or preceptor experience, and national certification in acute care. Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and experience with complex patients are essential.
Key Duties: Provide virtual clinical support, monitor patient conditions, assist with care transitions, and serve as a clinical resource. Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, utilizing PPE and following infection control protocols.
