Registered Nurse (RN) - First Assist

Role: Responsible for providing intraoperative patient care as a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) in surgical procedures, collaborating with surgeons and the perioperative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgeries across various specialties including general, ortho, robotics, GYN, vascular, neuro, and spine in a facility with 23 operating rooms.
• Perform pre-operative assessments, analyze data, and develop individualized perioperative care plans.
• Monitor patient responses, modify care plans, and administer medications following nursing standards.
• Contribute to team efficiency, ensure safety, and evaluate care quality.
• Engage in professional development, incorporate research into practice, and advocate for patient safety and ethical care.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2-5 years of nursing experience, with preferred 5-10 years.
• Certifications: RN license, CNOR, and preferably Certified First Assistant.
• Strong collaborative, clinical, and leadership skills essential for perioperative care.
